The African American Youth Leadership Program

 The African-American Youth Leadership Program (AAYLP), a division of the Research and Policy Institute of California, is seeking applicants for its 2009 African-American Youth Leadership Conference. California high school students eligible to graduate in 2010 or 2011 are invited to apply.

The Connecting Communities Coalition

 The Connecting Communities Coalition aims to increase the number of African American youth who achieve in school and can be admitted to highly selective colleges and universities through strong and successful community-based organizations (CBOs), whose leadership is committed to fostering high academic achievement for students; and through students who are leaders themselves.
