Sacramento, CA - We were rained out, but not for good! The city of Sac blessed us with a new date so let's make this 1st Annual event one of a kind! Tell your friends and family.
The new date is Saturday, June 27.

CalWest Cultural presents the 1st Annual Sacramento Unity & Diversity Music Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2009 in downtown Sacramento, California. This event is an attempt to continue the efforts towards encouraging unity in Sacramento and the surrounding area. The event will also raise monies for the Mysteek Foundation whose works in Africa and here in the USA will extend to women and children assistance in 2010.

This years event is set to begin early on May 2nd hosting hosting bands from Sacramento and Bay areas. Headliners Butterscotch, a Sacramento/Davis native and former final contestant on NBC's America's Got Talent and Messenjah Selah a talented reggae artist from St. Andrew, Jamaica bringing the vibes with a 45 minute show closer. You won’t want to miss them or the other 8+ bands set to perform this year.

The event will host vendors from all over Sacramento and beyond. Food vendors as well as artistic works will be showcased so families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and soak up some sun. Kids jumpers and facepainting available for your childs enjoyment as well as a host of cultural food to fill you up. A community event you won’t wanna miss!
