ANNOUNCEMENT:

The deadline for AAYLP applications has been extended!

We at the Research & Policy Institute of California are excitedly anticipating the 2008 African American Youth Leadership Conference.  In response to overwhelming interest from students and their families the deadline for AAYLP applications has been extended until May 1, 2008.

About AAYLP:
  • All current high school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply.
  • This year's conference will be held July 26, 2008 - August 2, 2008.
  • Students will spend the week on campus at Sacramento State University and one  full day at the State Capitol.

Applications must be postmarked by May 1, 2008. Applications for the 2008 African American Youth Leadership Program (AAYLP) summer conference are now available online at http://www.calresearch.org/2008-aaylp-application.html
